Candiace Dillard Bassett is drawing a very firm line when it comes to Nicki Minaj.

The former ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ star unloaded during a recent episode of her ‘Undomesticated Podcast’, addressing Minaj’s latest political headlines, including her alignment with MAGA figures like Turning Point USA’s Erika Kirk. The moment prompted Dillard to revisit their complicated history, which dates back to the RHOP reunion Minaj once hosted.

Looking back, Dillard acknowledged that tension existed long before the current controversy.

“I had my own little moment during her segment that we don’t have to talk about. I kind of felt like she was shading me a little bit. I still feel that way, but I took it on the chain and kept it moving. Even after we had our little thing during the reunion and I kind of felt a way about her, I still respected her as an artist. I still lauded her as being one of the greatest in Hip-Hop, one of the first to blaze a trail for a lot of the newer age female Hip-Hop artists.”

She continued by explaining that her respect once extended beyond personal slights:

even with her shading those who came before her and not giving them their flowers, I still felt like okay, even with that, I still give her her credit.

That grace, however, has now expired:

“I officially no longer give a f*ck, and she is now solidly categorized in the box of all skin folk and kin folk.”

Dillard’s comments intensified as she addressed Minaj’s MAGA affiliations and what she sees as a betrayal of the community that supported her rise:

“Nicki Minaj is a pick-me-a** Uncle Tom-ass clown-a** degenerate. Barb Barb’s, y’all can suck it, because anyone who, after witnessing the display of betrayal by this woman who has only become who she is because of a community that she has now decided to turn her back on, betray, and stab in our fronts.”

She concluded by sharing the emotional impact of watching the situation unfold.

“It actually hurts me to have had to witness that display of monkeying around.”
