SZA is seemingly gearing up for a monumental 2027!

Fresh from reports that the R&B superstar is in line to headline Coachella 2027, the songbird has personally fueled the speculation.

And she’s paired the intriguing tease with a welcome update on her eagerly awaited new album.

As reported, SZA is said to be nearing a deal to perform at next year’s festival alongside Dua Lipa and Tame Impala.

Now, the GRAMMY winner has shared a screenshot of the report on her alternate Instagram account, seemingly hinting that she’s preparing to say yes to the major booking.

She captioned the post:

“Headed to Tahiti to work this album some more. Mulling over big decisions. Saying yes when ur unprepared is crazy.”

While neither SZA nor Coachella organizers have formally confirmed her place on the bill, the post certainly suggests that something is cooking.

Meanwhile, her reference to working on the album confirms that her long-awaited third studio effort remains in development.

The project will follow 2022’s blockbuster ‘SOS’, which was expanded with the ‘Lana’ deluxe edition in 2024.

Back in September, the ‘Snooze’ singer teased a winter return, suggesting that fresh material could arrive before the new year.

Having joined Justin Bieber for a surprise performance at Coachella this April, a possible headline slot would mark another major milestone for the star.

With the festival set for April 9-11 and 16-18, all eyes are now on whether a new musical era will precede her potential return to the desert.
