Kristy finalized her divorce from Desmond Scott in July after 12 years of marriage. However, fans have long paired her with the R&B singer, including at a recent performance where Tiller mentioned her by name on stage.
Months after her much-publicized divorce became finalized, beauty and fashion influencer Kristy Sarah isn’t just showing off the healing phase of her life following a seismic change; she’s got plenty of people talking about who she might be romantically involved with now.
While plenty of stars were out in Los Angeles for JAŸ-Z’s mini-residency at SoFi Stadium on Friday and Saturday, Kristy was spotted at Bryson Tiller’s “The Neo Trapsoul Tour” on Sunday, and an onlooker spotted the pair closely together and at one point, sharing a kiss.
However, a source informed TMZ that the pair aren’t in a serious relationship but are “casually seeing each other” and “dating.”
Fans put on their sleuthing hats once they spotted Kristy dancing to Tiller’s “Drop The Lo” in an Instagram reel uploaded in June. Their suspicions only grew after Tiller appeared to switch up the lyrics of his “Drop The Lo” while performing on stage, mentioning the influencer and social media star by name.
“Kristy, you got my attention,” Tiller reportedly sang during a show earlier this month.
In July, Kristy finalized her divorce from chef Desmond Scott after 12 years of marriage. The couple shares two sons, and their love affair quickly grew to welcome the world via social media. It also offered a glimpse into the parasocial nature of social media and how a couple’s highs and lows can be turned into think pieces, tabloid gossip and more.
It’s also prompted Kristy to share her journey in therapy and her rediscovery of herself, which isn’t completely centered on a relationship.
In April, she shared several Instagram Stories highlighting how therapy was “life-changing” for her, encouraging others to consider it. “If you’re on the fence about therapy… this is your sign to do it,” she wrote at the time.
For his efforts, Scott has turned to posting about meals he’s cooked, staying active and enjoying life — even if a comment section may attempt to argue otherwise.
As Kristy and Desmond navigate life while co-parenting and discovering their individual selves in the public eye, Kristy is keen on pouring into herself, her boys and the occasional outlandish outfit or two.
