As the reigning Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul, Mary J. Blige is renowned for belting love-lorn anthems that are etched in the fabric of pop culture.

She is also famed for her unique move set on the dance floor.

MJB flexed the latter with a surprise performance of Michael Jackson‘s ‘Thriller’ at the latest date of her Las Vegas residency, ‘My Life, My Story.’

With the show falling on Halloween (October 31), Blige seized the moment to don MJ’s iconic red leather jacket and turn all the way up.

Indeed, backed by a troupe of dancers, the R&B royal rocked out to the classic anthem and nailed the iconic choreography from its music video.

Sensational scenes!

And though not on our Halloween bingo card, it easily serves as one of the season’s most memorable moments.

Mary’s ‘Thriller’ tribute comes as the song enjoys a streaming surge and eyes another major chart run, 44 years after its release.

A Queen saluting the King. Epic!
