Universal Pictures has officially unleashed the trailer for ‘The Odyssey’, and it looks set to deliver an epic cinematic adventure.

The Christopher Nolan-directed flick follows Greek hero Odysseus and his long, torturous, and fantastical journey home from the Trojan War as he fights to return to the Kingdom of Ithaca and reunite with his wife and son.

The all-star ensemble cast includes Matt Damon as Odysseus, Tom Holland as Odysseus’ son Telemachus, Anne Hathaway as Odysseus’ wife Penelope, Charlize Theron as the nymph Calypso, Robert Pattinson as Penelope’s sniveling suitor Antinous, John Leguizamo as Odysseus’ servant Eumaeus, and Jon Bernthal as Menelaus, the Greek king of Sparta and Agamemnon’s brother.

Additional cast members include Zendaya as the goddess Athena, Benny Safdie as Agamemnon, Himesh Patel as Eurylochus, Mia Goth as Melantho, Jimmy Gonzales as Cepheus, and Lupita Nyong’o, Corey Hawkins, and Will Yun Lee in currently unspecified roles.

The movie serves as an adaptation of Homer’s ancient Greek epic ‘The Odyssey’.

‘The Odyssey’ is set to hit theaters on July 17.
