Chadwick Boseman’s widow Taylor Simone Ledward is firing back as the battle over the late star’s estate intensifies.

Two months after his brothers went to court seeking to remove her as administrator, Ledward has issued a pointed response, rejecting their allegations and taking aim at the legal action itself.

As reported, Kevin and Derrick Boseman petitioned to have Ledward removed as administrator of their brother’s estate, alleging that assets had not been properly distributed years after his death.

Now, she’s pushing back.

In a legal response first reported by Page Six, Ledward brands the lawsuit a “public-relations stunt” designed to smear her publicly.

She maintains that she has done nothing wrong and points to multiple disbursements made to Chadwick’s parents, Carolyn and Leroy Boseman, since the ‘Black Panther‘ star’s 2020 death.

Ledward also claims she personally gifted approximately $300,000 of her own money to Derrick’s children because she knew her husband wanted his family cared for.

The brothers have asked for attorney Jason Rubin to replace her as administrator. Ledward opposes that appointment too, raising what she describes as “serious allegations” involving Rubin in other cases. She acknowledges she does not know whether those claims are true, but argues they warrant scrutiny before any appointment.

Ledward says she is prepared to defend her handling of the estate in court.

The judge has yet to rule on the request to remove her.
