Rick Ross accused of physical assault by ex-girlfriend Jazzma Kendrick

Model and real estate agent Jazzma Kendrick has accused rapper Rick Ross of physically assaulting her. She shared photos of an injured lip and said the alleged incident was the moment she decided to leave their relationship. Kendrick’s allegations have drawn responses online, including from 50 Cent and Tia Kemp, the mother of one of Ross’ children.

Kendrick’s posts began after an Instagram user commented on her appearance, writing, “I’m seeing what Rick is seeing your so gorgeous.” “He saw a punching bag,” Kendrick responded, apparently referring to Ross. As reported by Complex, she later shared a photograph of what appeared to be a bruised or injured lip, captioning it: “The day Rick busted my lip and the day I left.” The posts were shared to her Instagram stories.

In another post, Kendrick wrote: “I don’t know a lot of things, but I do know that a man that puts his hands on me, is a man that never loved me and never will.” She continued with a message directed toward people experiencing domestic violence: “If a man hits you one time, he will do it again. Don’t give him the opportunity. Value your life and leave.” In her latest post to her IG stories, Kendrick alleged that it happened about a month ago and she has since had time to “sit with it, process and start healing.”

Tia Kemp, who shares a child with Ross and has a long-running public history with the rapper, also appeared to address the allegations during a livestream. Kemp did not directly name Kendrick, but comments reported by theJasmineBRAND appeared to reference the situation. Kemp claimed that Ross had not physically assaulted her since 2006, saying, “He ain’t whooped this a** since… 2006.”

She also emphasized that she was not condoning domestic violence while recounting aspects of her own past relationship with Ross. Kemp’s comments represent her account of her own experiences with Ross and do not independently establish what occurred between Ross and Kendrick.

Ross’ longtime rival 50 Cent also responded to Kendrick’s allegations on social media. “This punk put his hands on baby girl, he stressed that album didn’t sell,” 50 Cent wrote. “I’d laugh at him, but domestic violence is not a joke.” Ross has not publicly addressed Kendrick’s claims as of the latest reports.
