Exclusive Review: 50 Cent & Mary J. Blige Marvel at Epic London Show

50 Cent‘s Legacy Tour made its latest stop at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and did not disappoint.

The colossal spectacle saw the G-Unit general joined on the bill by Mary J. Blige as well as A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.

A seismically stacked extravaganza, the event saw each act wave the flag for their respective genres and earn the adulation of the collective audience.

Join us below as we recap what 50 and Blige – the evening’s top-billed acts – delivered.

For a career as successful as the Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul, it was always going to be a tall task to condense a hit catalog like hers into an hour-long set.

And yet, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer met the moment in earnest.

Scorching the stage with anthems such as ‘Family Affair,’ ‘Just Fine,’ ‘I’m Going Down,’ and a returning ‘Be Without You,’ MJB had the capacity crowd in the palm of her hands and blazed with seasoned ease.

From vocal pyrotechnics to the slick choreography to her charisma, Blige lived up to her regal title.

Even her showings of mellower gems like ‘Not Gon’ Cry’ and ‘Everything’ filled up the stadium, and, by their emotionally-charged climax, saw Blige blow the proverbial roof off the building.

With her potent set, Blige reminded that there is ample mileage in her trademark thigh-high boots.

50 Cent followed with what served as the crowning set of an electrifying night.

The G-Unit general took command of the stage and unleashed a seemingly endless array of back-to-back bangers.

And while some artists endure with a select collection of curated hits, the Hip-Hop force reaffirmed that his arsenal of classics is both vast and unrivaled.

Fans were treated to a taste of the smashes like ‘Candy Shop,’ ‘Best Friend,’ ‘Many Men,’ and ‘P.I.M.P.’

While these songs are widely considered as canon in 50’s repertoire, attendees were also surprised with a showing of ‘Big Rich Town’ – the theme tune of the TV show  ‘Power.’

50, born Curtis Jackson, famously produced and starred in the series. In a celebratory moment of both the show and his success as a multihyphenate, he was joined on stage by ‘Power’ universe stars Michael Rainey Jr. and Gianni Paolo.

Fittingly, the show took place just days before the Rap icon turns 50 years old.

As the entirety of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium belted out climactic closer, ‘In Da Club,’ it drove home the reality that ‘The Legacy Tour’ is quite the victory lap for a career that just keeps winning.
