Ed Sheeran is moving full speed ahead to the release of his new album ‘Play‘ – his first studio effort since topping global charts with 2023’s ‘Autumn Variations.’
Just as his fans (affectionately called #Sheerios) continue to get acquainted with the set’s lead single, ‘Azizam,’ Sheeran dropped the tune’s official music video.
“Meet me on the floor tonight / Show me how to move like the water / In between the dancing lights / Be mine, be mine, azizam,” he sings in the Saman Kesh-directed music video.

As if the arrival of the official visual wasn’t enough to celebrate, last week also brought with it news Sheeran was among the 2025 class of TIME100’s “Most Influential People in the World” list.
Leading a group of movers and shakers that includes Simone Biles, Scarlett Johansson, Trump, Demi Moore, Myles Smith, Blake Lively, Rosé, Nicole Scherzinger, Jon M. Chu, Snoop Dogg, Serena Williams, and more, the unveiling of TIME’s 22nd annual list comes before the TIME100 Summit on April 23 and the TIME100 Gala on April 24.
