During a cheeky segment on The Today Show, Idris was asked point-blank if he’s spoken with Marvel about ‘Black Panther.’ His response was:
“Yes-no!”
With a grin that had fans and co-hosts buzzing. When asked if he’d take the role if offered, he gave a confident:
“Yes.”
Enough said.
Though Marvel hasn’t confirmed any casting for ‘Black Panther 3,’ whispers suggest Idris could portray a grown-up Toussaint T’Challa’s son introduced in ‘Wakanda Forever.’ At 33, the ‘Snowfall’ actor fits the bill perfectly.
In the meantime, Idris is set to speed onto screens in Apple’s highly anticipated ‘F1’ movie alongside Brad Pitt, revving up his Hollywood ascend.
