Azealia Banks already knows what it’s like to feel the wrath of Madonna supporters, especially after she dissed the Pop Queen’s megahit ‘Vogue‘ with claims she could’ve sang it better due to the diva’s “limited vocals.”

And while the heat from their social media attacks may have cooled in the months since Banks made the shocking comparison, she’s reawakened criticism from the dedicated fan group after going on an unprovoked rant over the weekend.

Banks took umbrage with our friends at Pitchfork magazine toasting the 27th anniversary of Madge’s classic ‘Ray of Light,’ and launched into an unsolicited think piece about the Pop icon’s career overall.

“When Michael Jackson says you’re a nasty person that means you’re a nasty person,” she told her 216,000 followers on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday (April 19). “Them KKK burning crosses [in the ‘Like a Prayer’ music video], then her stupid white a– dancing like a goofball with the black choir is why Mad-Onna always been a f-cking lame.”

And while Azealia’s been no fan of Lady Gaga either, the rapstress gave the ‘Abracadabra‘ singer a positive nod when it comes to her on-and-off-again nemesis Madonna.

“For her to ever compare herself to Lady Gaga is a whole joke in and of itself. It’s time for PR agents to stop telling young female artists they have to obligatorily pledge their allegiance to Mad-onner because she really trash,” Banks relayed.

While Madge’s fans quickly came to her defense, the 66-year-old – much like with every other related Azealia rant before it – has not directly responded.
