Beijing Tongxing Wanxin Catering Management has sued the ‘Taste’ rapper for fraud and breach of contract.
According to TMZ, the company claims it paid Tyga in advance for two appearances at Club Pac Star, scheduled for August 4 and October 27, 2023.
Neither appearance took place.
The company alleges it was subsequently told the shows would be rescheduled for 2024, but those plans never materialized either.
Now, it claims Tyga has repaid just $10,000 of an agreed $145,000 settlement.
As such, the company is seeking the remaining $135,000, plus punitive damages.
The lawsuit marks another chapter in the rapper’s history of financial disputes.
In 2023, Choice Motors Credit sued him for $1.3 million over alleged missed payments on a Lamborghini and Bentley. Similarly, Midway Rent a Car pursued $441,000 in 2019 over unpaid luxury car rentals.
Tyga also faced a performance-related lawsuit in 2018, when promoter Heavy Rotation accused him of accepting $141,000 for three shows in the United Arab Emirates that he allegedly failed to attend.
That case was eventually settled and dismissed the following year.
Indeed, his legal troubles stretch back further, with the rapper famously served with legal papers at a sneaker launch in 2015.
Tyga has yet to publicly respond to the latest allegations, and the case remains ongoing.
