Tinashe isn’t mincing words when it comes to her political views.

The ‘Nasty’ hitmaker found herself in a fiery exchange with a Republican-leaning critic on Election Day (November 3), after encouraging Americans to vote in the 2026 US midterm elections.

And when the critic questioned whether she was neurodivergent over her apparent support for Democrats, the singer delivered a sharp response.

Taking to X, Tinashe declared:

“VOTE OR DIE ! LETS GO AMERICA ”

The blue hearts, widely associated with the Democratic Party, didn’t sit well with everyone.

One commenter accused the star of alienating her Republican supporters and took aim at her personally, writing:

“did you have to have the blue hearts…alienating your red audience? girl, are you neurodivergent?”

Nashe’s response? Short, sharp, and unapologetic.

The exchange didn’t end there.

When another commenter questioned whether the singer appreciated the financial support she’d received from Republican fans, she reportedly responded:

“I do not care”

Per Rolling Stone, Tinashe has previously spoken about using her platform to address political and social issues, including during the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests.

The political exchange arrives during a career-high stretch for the performer, whose latest LP ‘Popstar’ recently became her first Billboard 200 Top 10 album.

Clearly, when it comes to her political expression, Nashe isn’t looking to please everybody.
