The GWOAT, as some may call her, is stepping into a new lane and it involves a different kind of beat than the one she gives in the ring.

Shields recently debuted new music from her upcoming album titled ‘What Did You Expect?’ during a listening party in Atlanta in partnership with ‘Rolling Out’.

Beyond bringing out some of the city’s most notable Rap personalities including rapper Scrappy and Jhonni Blaze, Claressa was joined by her rapper boyfriend, Papoose, who even took the stage alongside her for a special moment.

According to Shields, the event was a success as she introduced her latest musical project to an audience for the first time.

She shared:

“LAST NIGHT WAS ONE FOR THE BOOKS!

My FIRST EVER music listening party! Hearing DJs, celebrities, media personalities, and supporters screaming, dancing, and reciting lyrics to songs they were hearing for the FIRST TIME was unreal. Thank you to @rollingout and @klassymo for putting together such a beautiful event!

A lot of people didn’t know what to expect from me musically, but last night, I LET THE MUSIC SPEAK FOR ITSELF!

A HUGE shoutout to my amazing producers @juisebeats, @duanedarock, @iamcgbeats, @sean2miles, and Cody!

Thank you to EVERYBODY who came out and showed love!

THE GWOAT IS JUST GETTING STARTED! KEEP STREAMING “PARTY”! MORE MUSIC DROPPING SOON!”

Although Shields teased and played several unreleased tracks throughout the evening, an official release date for her full-length album has yet to be announced.

In the meantime, she is encouraging fans to check out her latest single, ‘Party,’ which made its debut on October 30 alongside its knockout of a music video.
