’Tiffany Haddish is celebrating a major personal milestone.

After a turbulent stretch that included multiple arrests and years of legal wrangling, the comedian says life looks markedly different now that alcohol is no longer part of it.

Taking to social media, Haddish reflected on more than three years of sobriety and explained that spending time in court helped reshape her relationship with drinking.

The 46-year-old wrote on X:

“I stopped drinking altogether when I realized how much bad stuff I was seeing connected to alcohol. Sitting in court really opened my eyes.”

She added that sobriety has brought physical benefits, greater clarity, and a noticeable shift in who remains in her orbit.

“Over three years later, LIFE IS AWESOME. No more waking up in pain. No more waking up next to ugly people. No more toxic relationships.”

Haddish said being sober has also made it easier to recognize unhealthy dynamics, adding that she can now see her ambitions more clearly.

The reflection comes shortly after the star brought her long-running Georgia DUI case to a close with a guilty plea. She received 12 months probation, community service, and a DUI course, but avoided additional jail time.

Her sobriety journey has also filtered into her creative offerings. Back in 2024, Haddish celebrated the early stages of the lifestyle change with her empowering single ‘Woman Up’.

Now, she appears keen on keeping the chapter accelerating in a positive direction.
