Tank is adding another major achievement to his illustrious R&B career, making history with his latest chart-topper.

The milestone sees Tank surpass Charlie Wilson for the most No.1 hits by a male artist in the chart’s 33-year history.

Only Alicia Keys ranks ahead of the R&B veteran, boasting 14 chart toppers.

Released through R&B Money/BMG, ‘YES’ interpolates Floetry‘s 2003 classic ‘Say Yes,’ with Marsha Ambrosius and Natalie Stewart receiving songwriting credits.

Reflecting on the achievement, Tank told Billboard:

“Having a [#] 1 song is always special, but being [No.] 1 in the history of the platform is just something different. Just keep singing the R&B music you love and God will do the rest.”

Congrats!
