With the clock ticking down to the unveiling of Kirk Franklin‘s October 30-due new album ‘I Am What I Am,’ expect to hear and see much of the Gospel legend in the coming weeks in its support.

Set to be delivered via a new partnership with Uptown Records, anticipation for the project’s offerings is already high if the response to its heavily teased, horn-filled single ‘This Time‘ is to judge by.

Released Friday (September 25), ‘Time’ sees Franklin reunite with his history-making ‘Rain Down On Me‘ co-star GloRilla.

“Feel it inside this time / We gon’ be fine this time / We gon’ be fine, we gon’ be / Hands in thе air, hands in the air,” Kirk and choir declare over a prominent sample of Shawty Lo‘s 2007 smash ‘Dey Know.’

Later bringing the tune to life with a Devon Libran-directed music video, get acquainted with ‘Time’ via its official visual below.
