Yung Miami is officially ready to turn her blockbuster solo momentum into a full body of work.

After spending the summer scoring the biggest hit of her career with ‘Spend Dat,’ the former City Girls star has announced her long-awaited debut solo album, ‘Watch Dis.’

Full story below…

Unveiling the cinematic announcement, Caresha made clear that ‘Watch Dis’ is about much more than simply releasing music.

This album is personal. This is me betting on ME.

I’ve been counted out before… I know what that feels like.

But I also know what it feels like to prove everybody wrong. WATCH DIS!

The title represents a switch-up from ‘Yams,’ the name Miami previously floated for the project before deciding it no longer reflected where she was creatively.

And she’s bringing serious momentum with her.

Released in April, ‘Spend Dat’ exploded from viral favorite into a bona fide smash, peaking at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100. In the process, it became Miami’s first solo top 40 hit and the highest-charting release of her career, while also topping Urban radio.

For That Grape Juice, the reveal brings the story full circle.

Back in June, Miami exclusively confirmed to us that her inaugural LP was on the way. Now, the project has a name, a trailer, and a pointed message.

Indeed, when we caught up with the 305 native at the BET Awards, the success of the track and what was coming next were front and center.

The summer release window Miami mentioned to TGJ may have passed, but with ‘Spend Dat’still stacking with cultural capital, her solo album campaign has clearly shifted into its next gear.
