Rod Wave is facing legal troubles once again.

The Florida rapper found himself back in custody Friday (November 7) following an arrest by the Atlanta Police Department.

And authorities are leveling multiple serious charges against the Hip-Hop star.

The 26-year-old was booked into Fulton County Jail on several charges, including possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, reckless driving, and possession of both Schedule II and Schedule V controlled substances.

Born Rodarius Green, the artist appeared before a judge Saturday (November 8) morning for his first court appearance.

According to his attorney, Drew Findling, bond has been set at $8,000. The circumstances surrounding what led to the arrest remain unclear, with the Atlanta Police Department yet to release additional details about the incident.

This marks the second time this year that the St. Petersburg native has been arrested in Fulton County. Back in May, he faced a litany of charges stemming from an alleged incident at his Atlanta-area home involving a dispute with realtors and associates. At that time, his legal team maintained he was the victim and had not committed any crimes.

The timing of the arrest is particularly notable, coming just a day after the rapper celebrated his first Grammy nomination. Fans have taken to social media expressing hope that he’ll be released in time for his upcoming ‘Redemption Tour’ scheduled to kick off later this month.
