Kevin Federline is facing a hefty financial headache!

For, the former husband of Britney Spears has been hit with a lawsuit alleging he owes more than $117,000 in unpaid debt.

And the timing is particularly interesting, as the legal drama follows the end of the hefty monthly child support payments he received from the Pop superstar.

According to Page Six, City National Bank is suing Federline for $117,704.77 across a credit card, personal line of credit, and overdraft account.

The bank is also seeking interest, including a whopping 20.5% on the credit card balance.

Interestingly, the 48-year-old reportedly opened the accounts in November 2024, around the time Spears made her final child support payment.

The former couple share sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Federline previously received as much as $40,000 monthly in child support. That figure later dropped to $20,000 before the payments ended when Jayden completed high school.

And this isn’t his first financial lawsuit this year.

In March, Bank of America separately sued him over an alleged $12,186 unpaid balance. That case was subsequently dismissed.

The latest developments add another layer to the former dancer’s much-discussed financial relationship with Spears.

As previously reported, Federline’s memoir ‘You Thought You Knew’ sparked a fiery feud with the singer.

Indeed, Spears’ representatives accused him of profiting from her name after his child support payments ended.

Federline, meanwhile, maintained in the book that raising their children and providing security came at an enormous cost.

The money was gone almost as soon as it came in.

For now, the bank’s allegations remain unresolved, and Federline has not publicly addressed the latest lawsuit.
