Jacquees‘ latest effort ‘Mood 2,’ the conceptual successor of his 2016 breakthrough mixtape ‘Mood,’ may have missed the Billboard 200 upon its release in July, but the R&B hitmaker has far from abandoned the opus.

Home to 22 tracks including the warmly received ‘Lick Back‘ featuring Cash Money Records labelmate Juvenile, ‘Quees (born Rodriguez Jacquees Broadnax) is undoubtedly hoping to reinvigorate interest in its parent project by breathing new life into the tune with a Lil Baby-enlisted remix released October 22.

“Yeah, she know I’m from the streets (D-Rok) / She want her lick back / In her feelings, I don’t get that / You and me, it’s a mismatch,” Broadnax wails over a Hitmaka produced chorus.

Lil Baby isn’t the only Hip-Hop heavyweight Broadnax has recently tag-teamed with.

Ahead of the ‘Lick Back (Remix),’ he joined forces with Kodak Black and NOBY to unleash the official music video for ‘Mood 2’ fan favorite ‘I Can Do Anything.’
