Lil Nas X is facing serious legal trouble after being arrested in Los Angeles last week.

According to LA Superior Court records, the rapper born Montero Lamar Hill has been charged with three counts of battery and an additional felony charge, with bail set at $75,000.

The incident unfolded in the early hours of Thursday morning on Ventura Blvd, when police responded to reports of a nude man in the area. 

When officers approached, Hill allegedly charged at them. A law enforcement source told NBC News that he punched one officer in the face twice during the altercation.

Hill was detained through the weekend and arraigned Monday morning in front of Judge Sarah Ellenberg at the Van Nuys courthouse. Authorities are still working to determine whether the 25-year-old was experiencing a mental health crisis or suffering from an overdose at the time of the arrest.

For now, Lil Nas X remains at the center of a developing case that could have a major setback for his career.
