Jay-Z celebrated his own legacy while making room for the West Coast’s finest at the grand finale of his ‘Jay-Z 30’ Los Angeles run.

The Brooklyn-born mogul welcomed Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Too $hort to a sold-out SoFi Stadium on Saturday (October 24), bringing a distinctly California flavor to his three-decade victory lap.

Full story below…

Following Friday’s star-studded opening night, Hov gave the second show an identity of its own by sharing the spotlight with artists whose catalogs helped define the host coast.

Too $hort brought Oakland into the mix with ‘Blow the Whistle,’ while Dre and Snoop’s reunion placed ‘California Love’ and ‘Still D.R.E.’ alongside Jay’s own New York anthems. For a celebration built around his longevity, the guest spots widened the salute to the Hip-Hop giants who helped shape the era.

That hometown acknowledgment extended to the late Nipsey Hussle. Elements of ‘Hussle & Motivate’ and ‘Last Time I Checc’d’ were woven into Hov’s material, keeping the late LA rapper’s presence within the music itself.

The full setlist (below) also speaks to the range behind Jay’s staying power.

Deep cuts such as ‘D’Evils,’ ‘Never Change,’ and ‘Song Cry’ sat alongside the party records and stadium staples, giving longtime listeners plenty beyond the biggest singles.

And with ‘Public Service Announcement’ and ‘Encore’ closing proceedings, the final word belonged to the man whose catalog brought everyone together.
