After ample whispers about if he would or wouldn’t, Monday (October 26) brought with it official news JAY-Z is set to headline the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show.

The man who has helped produce the Super Bowl halftime show for the last seven years is ready to take center stage himself.

Taking to social media on Monday, the NFL, Roc Nation, and Apple Music announced that Jay-Z (born Shawn Carter) will be the star performer for the biggest spectacle on Earth next year.

Slated to blast live to television screens on February 14, 2027, the big game is set to storm SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

“From ‘Reasonable Doubt’ to standing on the Super Bowl halftime stage, this has been a journey,” Jay-Z said in an official statement. “Thirty years of music, work, and culture on the world’s biggest stage. This run continues to be a dream come true.”

Super Bowl LXI will be broadcast on ESPN, Disney+, and ABC.
