‘I just want him out’: Bodycam footage revealed in incident involving 3-year-old soccer prodigy as ex-USMNT star, Roc Nation Sports step in

The incident has drawn national attention with thousands donating to a GoFundMe set up by Nevada Pierre’s parents to continue his soccer journey and Roc Nation Sports offering a hand.
Body cam footage from a viral incident involving the parents of a 3-year-old soccer prodigy and youth sports organizers in Florida highlights how the parents advocated for their child and how many are pouring into the child after the incident.
Nevada Pierre, who has gone viral for his skills as a budding soccer player at age 3, was removed from a youth league game that included older kids. As his father, Don Pierre, continued filming his son scoring goals and showcasing his footwork on the field, tension grew.
In body cam footage from the Winter Park Police Department in Florida, an organizer can be seen speaking to police about Nevada, saying that the 3-year-old was “pushing the kids” and asking for him and his parents to leave and that he’d offer them a full refund for the season.
“The kid is good. He’s great. Really good,” the organizer for i9 Sports tells responding officers. “He’s very advanced compared to the other ones, so he’s scoring a lot of goals. But he’s pushing the kids. … So, I try to tell him, don’t push; we want to play without pushing, right?”
According to the organizer, things changed when Nevada’s mother, Martasia Griffin, joined Don in questioning why their son was benched.
“I just want him out. Immediately,” the organizer tells officers. “Just give me their names so I can give them their refund.”
Griffin and her husband argued that everyone was “just playing a game,” but no one was passing the ball.
“They have issues with a 3-year-old, they’re mad at a 3-year-old because me and him [Nevada’s father, Don Pierre] haven’t done nothing,” she said. “We stand on the other side; we don’t ever stand with the other parents, so we’re not getting into it with other parents, we’re always on the other side.”
In the aftermath, a GoFundMe has been established to help continue funding Nevada’s soccer journey, and former United States Men’s National Team member Eddie Johnson confirmed that he would train the child at his soccer academy in Orlando. The GoFundMe has raised over $42,000 since it was launched.
“This fundraiser is about more than one painful experience,” Griffin wrote. “It is about protecting Nevada’s passion for soccer and making sure this moment does not define his journey. As his mother, it has been incredibly hard to see the emotional impact this has had on him. We believe every child, regardless of abilities, background, or potential, deserves the chance to learn, grow, and enjoy the game they love in a safe and supportive environment.”
In a post on Instagram, Johnson wrote about Nevada, “His situation has brought light to a lot of the things that still exist in youth soccer in this country. Entitlement, Jealousy, Envy, Nepotism, Gatekeeping and profiling especially against people of color.”
The help isn’t stopping there. According to Loren Lorosa of “The Breakfast Club,” Roc Nation Sports has committed to sending Nevada to Spain in December and plans to make the trip “an impactful athletic experience.”
