Don’t stop believin’! ‘Glee’ is officially making a comeback!

More than a decade after the beloved musical comedy took its final bow, Disney+ and Hulu have given the green light to a reboot of the cultural phenomenon.

And with original creator Ryan Murphy involved, the doors are opening once more for a new chapter in the show’s storied legacy.

Full story below…

Disney+ and Hulu have officially ordered the revival from 20th Television, 11 years after the original series concluded its six-season run on Fox in 2015.

The news was trumpeted across social media moments ago:

Murphy has already completed a script alongside fellow creators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.

Whether familiar faces such as Lea Michele, Amber Riley, Darren Criss, and Jane Lynch will return has yet to be confirmed. A premiere date and storyline are also under wraps.

Launched in 2009, ‘Glee’ became a Pop culture juggernaut, transforming show choir into must-see TV, scoring six Emmy Awards, and delivering memorable musical moments that continue to resonate today.

Of course, its legacy has not been without heartache. The years surrounding and following the original run saw the tragic deaths of Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera, alongside off-screen controversies.

Yet, at its heart, the show championed individuality, inclusion, friendship, and the transformative power of music.

Now, its revival offers an opportunity to carry that magic forward, potentially pairing familiar favorites with fresh faces ready to make the story their own.

A new generation. A new chapter. And another chance for the music, laughter, and spirit of ‘Glee’ to shine.

We’re ready for the next New Directions!

Relive the anthem that started it all:
