Erica Banks is facing serious legal trouble after authorities in Georgia arrested her during a traffic stop that quickly escalated. The rising Rap star was taken into custody while riding in what police say was a stolen vehicle, and her newly unveiled mugshot has already begun circulating online.

According to Brookhaven PD, the rapper was a passenger in a car pulled over for having an illegally tinted tag obscuring the license plate. Officers soon discovered the vehicle was displaying dealer plates and flagged as stolen from Atlanta.

Once Banks and the driver, Amani Dirton, were ordered out of the car, police searched the vehicle and found ecstasy pills inside her purse, while marijuana packaged for distribution was located with Dirton.

The Buss It performer was charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute. Dirton faces multiple charges, including theft by receiving stolen property and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Both remain held at DeKalb County Jail with no bond set.
