Ice Spice wants the rumor mill out her face after a now-viral scene from her latest music video, ‘Out My Face‘ with Lil Yachty, got the net chatting that she’s expecting her first child.
Shortly after the clip’s arrival to the net on Thursday (August 27), Spice (born Isis Gaston) addressed the murmurs head-on.
At one point in the song, Gaston raps, “Matter fact, make me a mom.” The quote, plus the visual of her belly swelling as she rapped it, got tongues wagging.
And even though ‘Rolling Stone’ put out an official statement confirming she is indeed not expecting and Yachty showed behind-the-scenes footage of the fake baby bump, the GRAMMY nominee wanted fans to hear it from her lips.
“I’m not pregnant, guys,” she shared on Instagram. “That was… In the song, I literally say, ‘Matter fact, make me a mom,’ and it was CGI. I am chunky, though… I’m a mess, girl. I’m not pregnant…”
