Offset‘s financial woes appear to be deepening.

For, the former Migos star is facing the prospect of a $100,000 court judgment after failing to respond to a lawsuit filed by a Detroit casino.

A Michigan judge has ordered MotorCity Casino Hotel to pursue a default judgment after the rapper missed the deadline to answer its lawsuit.

The September 11 order directs the casino to seek a judgment, with the matter to be heard no later than October 23.

The dispute dates back to March 2024, when Offset allegedly opened a $100,000 gambling credit line at the establishment.

MotorCity claims the rapper subsequently failed to repay the balance, became unreachable, and had insufficient funds in his bank account when the casino attempted to collect its money.

When the lawsuit surfaced in April, a representative for Offset insisted they were “working towards a resolution.”

However, the latest development suggests the matter is far from settled.

While a judgment has not yet been granted, the casino could be permitted to pursue collection if its request succeeds.

The legal headache adds to the rapper’s reported financial troubles, which include more than $2.3 million in tax liens disclosed last year.

Interestingly, the news comes just days after Offset claimed a separate casino confrontation in Paris was merely a promotional skit.

In another twist, the October 23 court deadline coincides with the scheduled release of his new album ‘GMFU’.
