Dame Dash is making it clear that he has no plans to reunite with Jay-Z on the Super Bowl stage, despite the rap mogul’s newly announced headlining slot.

The former Roc-A-Fella Records executive shared his thoughts during a nearly 35-minute interview with The Art of Dialogue, where he was asked about the Roc Nation mogul taking centre stage at the 2027 Super Bowl LXI halftime show.

Dash, who co-founded Roc-A-Fella alongside Jay and Kareem ‘Biggs’ Burke, appeared less than enthusiastic about the prospect of joining his former business partner for his highly anticipated performance. He remarked:

“We all know he’s going to bring out Beyoncé,

I’m not going. Don’t even call me for the Super Bowl.”

Dame Dash says he doesn’t see the play when it comes to Jay Z performing for the Super Bowl.

“If you do a show like the Super Bowl, and it’s terrible, it ruins your whole career. We all know he’s gonna bring out Beyonce,.. I’m not going, don’t even call me for the Super Bowl”

The comments come after the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation officially confirmed that Jay-Z will headline the halftime show on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium. The performance will mark the Grammy-winning rapper’s first time headlining the coveted sporting spectacle.

While fans are already speculating about potential surprise guests, Dash has seemingly ruled himself out of any onstage reunion.

The pair’s relationship has been strained for years following their split from Roc-A-Fella, with their business differences and public disagreements becoming a recurring talking point in hip-hop.

Whether Beyoncé will join her husband remains to be seen, but Dash has made his plans crystal clear.
