Offset‘s solo top 10 streak came to a halt this week with the Billboard 200 arrival of his third solo studio album ‘Kiari.’

Released August 22, Offset’s ‘Kiari’ – the follow-up to 2023’s ‘Set It Off‘ – entered the updated Billboard 200 at #16.

Here are the numbers that powered the placement.

First-Week Sales (SPS):  29,000 units

Billboard 200 Debut:  #16

Launched to Billboard battle on the wings of songs ‘Bodies,’ ‘Professional,’ and ‘Never Let Go,’ the self-titled set (christened after the rapper’s real name Kiari Cephus) came as a star-studded affair featuring big names like John Legend,Gunna, NBA YoungBoy, Ty Dolla $ign, and more.

And while it did manage to best industry analysts’ prediction for its opening sales by 1,000 units, strong competition from same-day releases by Ciara, Teyana Taylor, Laufey, BigXthaPlug, and Mariah the Scientist left ‘Kiari’ to bow in the Billboard 200’s #16 slot its premiere week.

In addition to the album owning Offset’s lowest first-week sales, it also lays claim to his lowest debut position yet and marks the first time he missed the all-genre chart’s top 10.

Its predecessors, ‘Father of 4‘ (89,000 first-week sales) and ‘Set It Off‘ (70,000 first-week sales), opened at #4 and #5 on the Billboard 200 in their respective release years.
