Cardi B and Nicki Minaj turned X (formerly known as Twitter) into a battlefield Monday night (September 29), trading a flurry of insults that had the platform buzzing.

In the midst of the rap rivals’ beef, an old audio surfaced of Cardi angrily going off about Ice Spice while name-dropping Latto.

As fans know, Latto and Spice – despite recently squashing their beef to drop the song ‘GYATT‘ – were locked into a longtime feud as well.

In the resurfaced audio (which reportedly was not recorded recently), Cardi is heard threatening to pull up on Ice and “beat her a**” – even going as far to say she’s not a “p*ssy like Latto.”

The ‘Bodak Yellow’ star wasted no time addressing the backlash, posting:

“I was ranting and hot at the moment but I fck with Latto HEAVY!! I respect everything about her including her team thats so sweet.. AND NOPE! I’m not too prideful to apologize to somebody I really respect so this my public apology and now ima privately buy her a bag.”

Latto, who recently joined Cardi on ‘ErrTime‘ remix, hasn’t publicly responded to the hoopla.

Still, it seems the two remain cool – unlike Cardi and Nicki whose feud is far from over.
