Bow Wow dominated the teen scene in the 2000s and is celebrating that unprecedented run as one of the co-headliners on the latest edition of ‘The Millennium Tour.’

During a promotional stop on Cam Newton‘s Funky Friday Podcast, the rapper seized the moment to shower praise on an act who rose to prominence at the same time – Ciara.

The pair notably dated and also scored a seismic hit with ‘Like You.’

Fast forward to the present, Bow Wow is not only full of admiration for his former flame, but he’s also hoping they can join forces on stage once again.

Speaking with Newton, the MC (born Shad Moss) said:

“She just did the tour with Missy [Elliott]. She dances just as hard now as she did back then. She’s deserving. If it was up to me, she would have been on ‘The Millennium Tour’ co-headlining. For sure, I just feel like she’s deserving of her flowers. Three million records out of the gate. Dances her a** off, you’re going to be entertained, she has the hits, she has the show, why not? [Me] performing ‘Like You’ with her. That sh*t would put a stamp on the culture.”
