Taylor Swift is back in pole position.

The superstar’s latest studio effort, ‘The Life of a Showgirl,’ has reclaimed the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 this week, marking its eighth nonconsecutive turn at the top.

After briefly slipping to #3, the project bounced back thanks to a post–post-Thanksgiving surge fueled by retail reductions and a fresh collection of signed CDs through her webstore.

Ms Swift certainly knows how to drive buzz within her fanbase.

The win adds yet another chart milestone to the 35-year-old’s blockbuster 2025 run, as the album continues to dominate both sales and streaming metrics.

Per Luminate, ‘Showgirl’ sold another 99,000 equivalent album units in the tracking week ending December 4.

That total includes 53,000 streaming units and 46,000 in pure sales following a 121% jump.

With holiday favorites from Mariah Carey, Michael Bublé, and Bing Crosby reentering the chat, it will be interesting to see whether Swift will continue to tower into the festive frame
