Ayra Starr got real about life on tour with Coldplay during her Capital XTRA appearance.

The Afrobeats princess admitted that during some of the stops of Coldplay’s ‘Music of Spheres’ World Tour, like Midwest America:

“Most of the people have never heard of me in their lives. So I’m just on stage and there’s a girl eating a pizza in front of me. There’s different experiences, I feel like God is just training me because now there’s no where I can’t perform.”

But the band quickly put her in the spotlight, inviting her to perform ‘Hot Body’ live for the first time.

On air, she dished all the backstage tea from being surprised on stage with ‘Magic Mike’ dancers to just vibing with the band. Ayra also spoke on the viral ‘Coldplay kiss’ moment, which saw a couple, revealed to be having an affair,  awkwardly hiding when displayed on the kiss cam screen. Ayra said that she knew the scandalous context before it went viral. She revealed:

“The minute I saw it, I knew exactly what it was because I’ve seen it so many times in person.”

Meanwhile, her new single ‘Hot Body’ is already taking over playlists and cementing her as Coldplay’s secret weapon. If people didn’t know her before, they will surely know her now.
