Iyanla Vanzant is bringing her signature brand of truth-telling and healing back to OWN with two brand-new OWN Spotlight specials.

The Emmy Award-winning spiritual teacher and bestselling author will host ‘Mothers & Daughters: Torn Apart with Iyanla Vanzant‘ followed by ‘What Black Men Says vs. What Black Women Hear with Iyanla Vanzant.’

For the events, Iyanla will work with a live audience to unpack deeply rooted family and relationship issues. The first special focuses on three generations of mothers and daughters confronting painful truth, while the second explores communication between Black men and Black women.

Following the strong premiere of ‘Iyanla: The Inside Fix,’ the new specials continue her return to the network’s primetime lineup.

‘Mothers & Daughters: Torn Apart’ on October 9 and ‘What Black Men Say vs. ‘What Black Women Hear’ on October 16 on discovery+ and HBO Max.
