Tyla Teases Huge Wizkid Collaboration ‘Dynamite’

Tyla is set to turn up the heat with a little help from Wizkid.

Waving the flag for Africa, the GRAMMY-winning stars are readying a new pulsating anthem named ‘Dynamite.’

Set for release on July 25, the track will arrive as part of Tyla’s new mixtape, ‘WEWANNAPARTY.‘ The title of which makes its dancefloor agenda clear.

Ahead of the project’s release, the South African belle held a special listening session in London on July 16 and opened up to host Eddie Kadi about how the colossal collaboration came to fruition.

Dishing on ‘Dynamite,’ which was produced by P.Prime, Tyla shared:

“How everything happened [was]… I was in Nigeria, I was there for the first time and I was in my hotel, in the lobby. And I saw Wiz in the lobby, I was like, ‘What the heck, is that Wizkid?!’. I took my chance and just DM’d him, and I was like, ‘I saw you in my hotel – can I play you some music?’. He saw the message and said ‘yeah’, so me and my manager played him some music and he was vibing with it. We had some sessions in Ghana. I was literally in Ghana waiting for him… when he finally hit me up, I was there in a heartbeat!”

She also revealed that the creation of the song began back in 2022. Explaining the delay, she quipped:

“I don’t know. Everything was just happening for both of us and we just never had the chance to finish it. So when I thought of doing a mixtape called ‘WEWANNAPARTY,’ I went back to all my old demos and I remembered the Wiz one and it was still good, like, after three years! I just told him, ‘Let’s finish it because I want to drop it’.”

Having had the flavor-filled ‘Is It’ on repeat, we’re all sorts of buzzed for both ‘Dynamite’ and ‘WEWANNAPARTY.’
