From Megan Thee Stallion to Solange Omon’s Cinderella story and more, we gather highlights from the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

If heaven was missing a few angels last night, in particular a few Black women, they should have checked Los Angeles.

On Sunday, October 28, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned to the City of Angels for the first time in 19 years with nearly double the models and major debuts including Solange Omon and Natalia Bryant, and performances by Megan Thee Stallion and Katseye. It has also set a record for the most Black women to appear on the show wearing wings.

“Likeee,” Megan wrote, adding wing emojis, in the caption of a post on Instagram that included footage from her big debut.

While the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was a celebration of all things glamorous, Black women brought some of the evening’s most memorable moments. Between a history-making casting call, a few famous faces making unexpected runway debuts, Megan Thee Stallion fulfilling a lifelong dream, and some seriously spectacular wings, Black star power was in no shortage. Set against the show’s “Fandemonium” theme, which took audiences on a journey through all four seasons, the evening featured 18 Black women on the runway, including six of whom appeared in wings. With so much Black beauty packed into one night, we’re breaking down the standout moments that deserve a second look.

Solange Omon’s Cinderella story

From near obscurity to the Victoria’s Secret runway, 21-year-old Cameroon-born Omon had quite the Cinderella moment Sunday evening. After being discovered through the brand’s nationwide casting call, the model, who had been studying and working with nonprofit youth programs in Maine at the time, found herself strutting down one of fashion’s most famous runways. For her big debut, she wore a black-and-white lace bra-and-panty set with golden wings accented by flowing sheer organza fabric trailing behind her as her long, dark hair billowed around her shoulders. The fairy tale didn’t end at midnight—in addition to landing a coveted spot in the show, the budding model also won an exclusive contract with IMG Models.

New kids on the blocks

Omon was far from the only Black beauty getting her first taste of the Victoria’s Secret spotlight. Natalia Bryant, the 23-year-old daughter of the late Kobe Bryant, brought some Y2K flair to the PINK segment of the evening in a black logo bra, hot-pink shrug, bedazzled denim while carrying a sparkling disco-ball handbag. Other VS show first-timers included model and actress Jordan Leftwich, who already was modeling for PINK campaigns, seasoned runway model Tara Falla, and Marlee Guillory, who made her debut after spending some time away from the modeling spotlight.

Trinity Rodman keeps the sports-to-angel pipeline going

Last year, we had Angel Reese. This year, soccer sensation Trinity Rodman kept the sports crossover going with her runway debut. Fresh off helping the Washington Spirit secure a spot in the NWSL playoffs just one day earlier, the 24-year-old Olympic gold medalist traded her cleats for a black cropped camisole layered over a sparkly bra, sequined micro shorts, silver heels, and her hair full of bouncy curls, as she strutted down the runway with a metallic PINK puppy tucked under her arm.

Megan Thee Stallion’s full circle moment

When Megan Thee Stallion stepped onto the runway rocking a platinum blonde blowout, a glittering lace bra, barely-there bottoms, sparkly thigh-high stockings, and a dramatic pair of metallic silver wings to perform her hit “Body,” surrounded by lingerie-clad dancers, she was living a full-circle moment. The rapper, who he closed out the night during the “Winter Reprise” segment, recently shared how she’d been dreaming of becoming a Victoria’s Secret model since she was a teenager, and she certainly didn’t play around when it came to preparing for her big moment. In the weeks leading up to the show, Meg kept fans abreast of her prep, sharing glimpses of her intense gym workouts, grueling Pilates sessions, and her meals. Meg also performed “Her,” which was made just for the runway!

Six Black women wear wings

Including Omon and Hot Girl Meg, six Black women received their wings during last night’s show. Anok Yai made quite the entrance in the show’s spring-inspired opening segment, emerging from an enormous blooming pink flower before returning to the runway looking positively heavenly in a white, lace-accented peplum bodysuit with towering feathered wings. Meanwhile, Precious Lee gave us a little dark glamour in a sultry black bustier and chandelier-inspired wings dripping with jewel-like accents. Then, Jasmine Tookes brought some serious drama with an oversized pair of fuchsia-fringed wings that swayed with every step, and Cindy Bruna served in a sporty black lingerie set with lace stockings and enormous metallic silver wings with sculptural, armor-like feathers.

Black beauty was everywhere

What can we say? Between runway veterans Joan Smalls and Imaan Hammam, curve queens Paloma Elsesser and Devyn Garcia, and social media darling Quenlin Blackwell, Black beauty was everywhere last night. With nearly 20 Black women gracing the runway throughout the night, including rising stars Awar Odhiang and Abeny Nhial and Brazilian bombshell Daiane Sodré, and not to mention a performance by girl group KATSEYE, this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was a celebration of all things glamorous, sexy, and feminine, with Black women at the center of it all.
