In celebration of the 25th anniversary of his global chart-topping hit ‘Stan‘ and the popularization of the term in modern-day Pop culture, rapper Eminem dropped the similarly titled documentary ‘Stans‘ to “examine the complicated relationship between one of the world’s most private artists and his massive public persona.”
Directed by Steven Leckart, the film – produced by Eminem (born Marshall Mathers) – debuted to rave reviews on Paramount+ on August 26.
To further celebrate Mathers’ musical legacy and toast his enduring relationship with Rap fans, the emcee compiled the music found aboard the flick into an official companion album: the ‘Stans’ soundtrack.
A 12-track affair that includes previously unreleased music as well as a remastered version of his unforgettable performance of ‘Stan’ at the 43rd annual GRAMMY Awards with Elton John (2001), look inside to stream the musical project courtesy of Apple Music and Spotify.
