Starz‘s ‘BMF’has been cancelled after four seasons.

The network has canceled 50 Cent’s drama series after a four-year run that showcased the dramatized life of the Black Mafia Family.

CEO Jeffrey Hirsch mentioned the underperformance of season four; the show did not live up to expectations, which led to modest sequential declines in subscribers and revenue.

50 took to Instagram and appeared to mock the axing, while revealing he didn’t have anything to do with the cancellation:

“I am deeply concerned by the widespread assumption that I had any involvement in the recent cancellation of BMF. I intend to thoroughly investigate this matter to understand exactly how and why it occurred. Thank you.”

There’s no secret that there’s no love lost between the G-Unit general and lead Demetrius Flenory Jr (Lil Meech).

He also added that a spin-off might be on the way:

“You know the vibes, spin-offs on the way.”

Flenory Jr. and Da’Vinchi play the two brothers in BMF. La La Anthony, Myles Truitt, Michole Briana White, and Russell Hornsby were also a part of the project.

This show has featured special guests like Snoop Dogg, Saweetie, Skai Jackson, and Yung Miami.

The future is still uncertain when it comes to the ‘BMF’ universe.
