The ‘Crank That’ performer’s assistant filed a lawsuit against him in early 2021, accusing the star of serious allegations, including sexual battery, sexual assault, false imprisonment, emotional distress, and more during her time working with him.

This week, Soulja Boy took the stand in his civil trial, where he vehemently denied the woman’s claims of sexual assault.

He explained:

“I asked her if she wanted to have sex, and she was engaged in it. She didn’t push me away or say stop, nothing like that.”

Despite these statements, his testimony has sparked controversy, especially as his attorney, Rickey Ivie, argued that the woman’s allegations lacked credible evidence.

The MC denied ever being violent with the woman, despite having sent her several disturbing text messages, including insults like

“f*k U b**ch”

“I hope you die slow.”

When asked by attorney Dean Aynechi if he thought it was acceptable to speak to women in such a manner, he responded, “No.” 

According to the woman’s testimony, she was denied meals, had her personal property seized, and lived in continual fear for her life. She also talked about how the alleged sexual assault affected her emotionally, saying it left her “in shock.”

She further asserted that she never received payment for the labor she performed.

As the legal proceedings progress, the outcome of this case could drastically affect his career.
