Sherri Shepherd will be waving goodbye to the talk show sphere.

For, the comedian and TV host’s series ‘Sherri,’ has officially been canceled after four seasons.

Debmar-Mercury, who produce the show, confirmed the decision on moments, noting that the show had most recently been cleared through the 2025–2026 TV season across several major station groups, including Fox TV Stations and Nexstar.

In a joint statement, Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus stressed that the cancellation was not a reflection of the show’s performance or Shepherd herself.

It read:

“This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production, or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd.

We believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms.”

Shepherd’s daytime talker arrived in 2022 as a replacement for The Wendy Williams Show.’

Time will tell if the show will land on another platform.

In the here and now, though,  it looks like ‘Sherri’ will be wrapping at the end of its latest run.

The news comes within the same hour that it was confirmed that ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ is also ending.

Suffice it to say, there is significant change ongoing in the talk show landscape.
