As American fans of Kylie Minogue (affectionately called #Lovers) are rocking out to live renditions of her global smash ‘Padam Padam‘ being presented via her ongoing ‘Tension Tour,’ the Aussie Pop Queen has learned the tune’s danced its way to a Stateside milestone just in time for its 2-year anniversary.

Taking to press on Thursday (April 3), the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) unveiled news ‘Padam’ had crossed the threshold for Gold certification – meaning it’s sold at least 500,000 copies in the United States.

The last time Minogue had a song certify as high at the organization was when her 2002 comeback hit, ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head,‘ headed north of the sales marker and was certified Gold in 2005.

Undoubtedly, the commercial performance of both tunes help sustain Kylie’s crowning as the best-selling solo Australian singer in music history with her career-wide sales hovering above the 80 million records sold mark.

The Gold certification comes as the latest milestone reached by ‘Padam,’ which famously made history when it brought the diva her first GRAMMY win in 20 years as well.
