And while the details listed above are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his triumphs at Billboard, the only place that comes close to mirroring those gargantuan wins is the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
As if Graham wasn’t already the dominating force there, Friday (October 23) brought with it a slew of record-extending updates that push his already unprecedented stats into the stratosphere.
A day before his 40th birthday (October 24), Drizzy learned a whopping 30 titles from his prized discography had their certification statuses updated at the RIAA.
Among the slew of upgrades, the standout clearly came courtesy of the double Diamond grade afforded to 2016’s ‘God’s Plan‘ – the lead single from his blockbuster 2018 album ‘Scorpion.’ For context, “Diamond” refers to sales of 10 million in the United States while “Platinum” denotes sales equivalence of 1 million in the same territory.
Stinging the competition indeed, ‘Plan’ is now the highest-certified Hip-Hop song ever.
Among all genres, only Bruno Mars‘ 2010 smash ‘Just the Way You Are‘ is certified higher (21x Platinum).
Also noteworthy among the 30 upgrades is the now-Platinum status of the ‘Iceman‘ album as well as songs ‘Broke Boys,’ ‘You Broke My Heart,’ and more.
Pushing his career total of similarly certified efforts to 111, he becomes the first act in the RIAA’s 74-year existence to boast over 100 Platinum titles to his credit.
At the time of this report, Drake’s total sales in the U.S. (album and singles) sit at 390.5 million – the most of any act in the organization’s history.

Note: It’s worthy of mention the RIAA only credits certifications to lead acts, so any certified song where Graham is listed as a feature is not added to his official career count.
