The NFL veteran and Grammy-winning singer are expanding their business portfolio through an investment in QALO.

Russell Wilson and Ciara are adding wearable health technology to their growing business portfolio after joining QALO as co-owners and investors. Announced October 20, 2026, the partnership will see the couple work with company executives on product development, marketing and future growth.

QALO launched in 2013 with silicone wedding rings designed for people with active lifestyles. The company is now expanding its focus to wearable health monitoring through two products: the SR-2 Smart Ring and SL-1 Smart Band. According to press release via Business Wire, both devices track sleep, physical activity, stress and recovery without requiring a monthly subscription.

Users can also switch between the ring and wristband while keeping their information connected through one platform. QALO says it has served more than 2.2 million customers and that its wearable user base has grown by more than 400% over the past year.

Wilson, a Super Bowl champion who retired from professional football after 14 seasons, said understanding the body is important for performance both on and off the field. “Taking care and understanding your body is essential to performing your best,” Wilson said in QALO’s announcement, connecting health monitoring to athletic performance, parenting and staying active.

Ciara said the company’s approach appealed to her because busy schedules can make personal wellness a lower priority. “I know how easy it is to put your own health and wellness on the back burner when life gets busy,” she said. QALO CEO Jake Curreri described the couple’s investment as a vote of confidence in the company’s direction.

The QALO deal adds another venture to the couple’s business interests across entertainment, fashion, beauty and philanthropy. Ciara founded Beauty Marks Entertainment and OAM Skincare, while Wilson launched the children’s apparel brand 3BRAND. Together, they established Why Not You Productions and the Why Not You Foundation.
