RAYE is taking extraordinary measures to ensure real fans secure tickets to her upcoming Royal Albert Hall concert.

For, the British songbird has turned to manually vetting ticket registrations after AI-powered scalpers swamped the sign-up process for her one-night-only spectacular, ‘This Symphony May Contain Hope.’

With a jaw-dropping 1.8 million registrations submitted for just 5,000 seats, the situation has highlighted the staggering demand for the star.

However, the ticketing chaos has only intensified, with fresh figures revealing the scale of the scramble.

In a statement shared this week, the 28-year-old revealed that hundreds of thousands of registrations had been generated by scalpers using AI bots.

Addressing the situation, RAYE said:

“It is a new world we are living in now, I have never witnessed bots on this scale.”

Determined to keep tickets out of the hands of resellers, the singer and her team opted to manually review the sign-up list to identify genuine fans, rather than allow the original registration process to dictate presale access.

And the disruption didn’t end there.

According to IQ Magazine, the Royal Albert Hall subsequently recorded a staggering 5 million website requests during Tuesday’s presale. Ticket buyers also experienced technical difficulties that temporarily prevented purchases.

Reflecting on the ordeal, RAYE admitted:

“I’m not sure what the future holds for ticketing, I do know this experience has really opened my eyes.”

General ticket are on sale from today (October 15) giving those who missed out on presale codes another opportunity.

The October 23 concert will see RAYE perform material from her ‘This Music May Contain Hope’ album alongside the Heritage Orchestra and Flames Collective.

It’s a return to a venue that holds special significance for the star, who previously staged her acclaimed ‘My 21st Century Symphony’ concert there in 2023.

Clearly, demand for RAYE is through the roof. Getting those tickets into the right hands, however, is proving a performance of its own.
