Ray J is speaking out following a dramatic domestic disturbance call that sparked widespread concern.

After reports swirled about a heated incident at his Los Angeles-area home recently, the ‘One Wish’ singer told TMZ that:

“I’m feeling good right now — I’m not suicidal at this moment — I don’t need to call a hotline — I’m perfectly stable.”

Ray alleged that during the altercation, his ex-partner, Shila Hasanoff, became physical – prompting him to leave the property and call 911.

He claims he was struck forcefully and felt disoriented in the aftermath.

“On the night of the incident … She was very aggressive with all the stuff going on … she put her hands on me and I literally got up out of there — situation like that you get out of there to settle down the situation — was I suicidal in that moment — I don’t know what I was feeling — she slapped me out of control — I didn’t know if it was March or April, my back tooth is loose — it was a massive blow — Hell yeah I called 911 because I left the hotel and she followed me,” Ray claims.

Hasanoff, however, took to Instagram to clarify that Ray “never put his hands” on her. Instead she admitted she slapped him amid heightened emotions, alleging she was trying to prevent him from harming himself, she said:

“That night I was only trying to grab him from jumping off the ledge and I let my emotions get the best of me and I slapped him.”

Police ultimately made no arrests, closing the case after both parties declined to cooperate.
