Billy Porter has made his fair share of headlines over the years for being one of Hollywood’s most outspoken characters, but his latest act of brazenness landed him on the radar of one of music’s most active fan bases (#Barbz) after he lent a less-than-endorsing message to Nicki Minaj.

While rocking the red carpet of the fourth annual Recording Academy Honors on Thursday (January 29), Billy chatted it up with our friends at ‘Hollywood Unlocked.’

During the interview, the 56-year-old waxed honest about his inability to separate “the music” from “the artist” when it comes to celebrities who engage in activities he doesn’t support.

When the interviewer pinpointed Minaj, however, Porter let loose.

“F*ck her,” he emphasized repeatedly. “When a person shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”

Undoubtedly the most stinging critique the Rap diva’s received over the last few months since publicly pledging her support to Trump, Billy’s disses are the latest in a string of anti-Nicki sentiments expressed by fellow celebs and former fans alike.

Likely because Minaj is currently in a locked horns battle with journalist and media personality Don Lemon, however, she’s not made a statement in response to Porter at the time of this report.
