Over a decade separates fans of Jamie Foxx from his last studio album, 2015’s ‘Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses,’ but the 11-year wait for the Academy Award-winning actor’s return to music has come to a close.

Just a month after celebrating the 20th anniversary of his breakthrough album ‘Unpredictable,’ Foxx lived up to the title of his sophomore LP by surprising music lovers with news he’s gearing up to release a new song: ‘Somebody.’

“Can somebody find somebody to / Get this somebody off my mind? / I’ve been talkin’ to the ceilin’ / Like it’s gonna give me answers tonight,” he croons on the slow-burning jam.
