Rick Ross is facing a new lawsuit over two cancelled concerts.
A promoter claims the Rap titan pulled the plug on a pair of North Carolina shows at the eleventh hour and without explanation.

Omega14 Incorporated has filed suit against Ross, Maybach Music Group, and his touring company over the final stops of his ‘Port of Miami 20th Anniversary Orchestra Tour.’
The concerts, set for Greensboro and Charlotte, were abruptly cancelled in August, with Ross contractually required to perform for at least an hour at each date.
According to the filing, cancellations were permitted only in the event of “severe injury or death.”
Omega14 alleges Maybach Music Group manager Tawanda Roberts informed the company at 1 p.m. on the day of the Greensboro show that Ross “refused to perform” both that concert and the Charlotte date scheduled for the following day.
The promoter claims it was never reimbursed for costs including venue bookings, production management, marketing, lodging, and transportation.
All told, Omega14 says it incurred $261,000 in expenses and lost profits.
Adding another layer to its case, the company alleges Ross performed in Orlando and Miami Beach on the same days he had been scheduled to take the stage in North Carolina. It argues that this was “inconsistent with an inability to perform caused by severe injury or illness.”
Omega14 wrote in its complaint:
“Rick Ross and defendants engaged in conduct that was unethical, unscrupulous, and substantially injurious to consumers and businesses including but not limited to plaintiff, the numerous orchestral musicians, choir members and venue operators.”
Ross has not publicly responded to the lawsuit.
The legal action arrives during an already headline-heavy stretch for the MC. His ex-girlfriend Jazzma Kendrick recently spoke out after making separate allegations of physical abuse against Ross. He has not publicly addressed those claims either.
